Stories from the Heart

On 8 January 2023, Voice of the Cello returns to the stage in a full-scale live performance which features 40 young cellists and many stories from the heart.

The cello has long been recognized as the most human of instruments, and the program showcases the full range of the voice of the cello - from the celestial twinkling of the Sugar Plum Fairy, the heartfelt grace of The Swan, the love song from Elgar to his future bride, to the anguish and power of Faure’s Elegie.

Voice of the Cello is a collective of musicians who love their cellos and doing new and interesting things together. This has included busking in Vienna, playing with an orchestra in Budapest, having masterclasses in Penang, exploring the Musee de la Musique in Paris, performing on the radio and live at Carnegie Hall, and so much more.

Terms and Conditions:

1. 1. Safe Management Measures shall follow prevailing government requirements/advisories at time of event. If mandated, proof of valid vaccination status will be required for entry to the venue and no refunds will be made if the ticket holder is unable to comply.

2. No exchange of tickets will be made and tickets may not be resold nor redistributed or used for any commercial or marketing event, activity, promotion or purpose, without the prior written consent of the Organizer.

3. The Organizer may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the performance or deny access to the venue, due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes.

4. Infants in arms will not be permitted entry. Children below the age of 10 shall be accompanied by a guardian.

5. The Organizer reserves the right, without refund or compensation, to refuse admission / evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate.

6. No photography, audio or video recording is allowed during shows, performances and screenings unless otherwise instructed by the Organizer.

7. The ticket holder agrees to submit to any search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, drugs, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances and recording devices.

8. Singapore law shall govern the sale of all tickets and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

9. The ticker holder shall abide by all entry conditions imposed by the venue from time to time.
